Our ambition
With your help, we want to reach out to as many people as possible to:
- Raise awareness of real-life in the ambulance service
- Inspire others and future generations who may want to join a career within the ambulance service
- Support current Student Paramedics and ambulance service staff
- Promote mental health and wellbeing to positively change mental health views within the service by sharing experiences to show that it is ok not to be ok.

Why should I get involved?
It’s totally FREE, yes that’s right FREE! We have created Life in Greens as a free open-access blogging website to build a community of contributors that appeals to everyone and reaches more people.
You should get involved if you:
- Work on the frontline, in a control room or behind the scenes in a support role
- Want to raise awareness of your job role
- Want to inspire others with your experiences
- Want to use your experiences to positively change mental health views within the service.
Why should I use Life in Greens to create a blog?
We know there are many individual Student Paramedic or Paramedic blogs out there, but finding them can be difficult. So, we wanted to create a website where writing a blog is straightforward, where they can be easily found, and consequently shared with more people.
What will I get for getting involved?
If you share inspiring content of your experiences, you will help many other people including colleagues and students. This is the kind of thing that money can’t buy. Inspiring and supporting others motivates us and that’s what we love to do.
Your contribution will not go unnoticed and we will send you a certificate to say thank you.
If you choose to write your own blog with us, we will also feature your name and photo on Our Team page alongside the rest of our team. We will also send you a welcome pack along with some helpful resources to get you started on your blogging journey with us.
